This light bulb is really cool. It has an old timey look to it with its shape and the warm color light that it produces. The filaments are orange which threw me off a little I thought it had to be wire to work but not it actually works just like that. No matter how long you have it on it is cool to the touch. It literally produces almost no heat at all. Barely even gets slightly warm. Great for lamps that are low and good for children in the house because it won’t burn them. The look is really cool like from 100 years ago and the thickness of the glass is nice too looks like it won’t break easily like bulbs today. Overall I think that this bulb is amazing. The look the feel the light it produces and the heat that it doesn’t the way the color warms up the room. This product definitely deserves 5 stars.

Awesome and bright light. Don’t get fixated on the supposed “wattage” equivalent — these give off MORE lumens than the old-school edison bulbs. Because edison bulbs are so inefficient, these LED versions are about equivalent lumens to a 75W edison, and these LED ones look really really close to the same because of the “LED filament”, which is really cool, but they use about 90%-93% less electricity! The amber tint does create a bit of a yellow caste to the light. I’d prefer a plain clear globe, but I’m still very happy with them!

I love the look of this led edison bulb. It is a WARM light so rather golden, but nowhere near as yellow as another brand of led edison bulb I bought locally. It is not extraordinarily bright, I use it in a small anteroom off our small guest bath and it provides mood lighting or middle of the night don’t stumble lighting, we supplement it with a bright white set of bulbs over the sink for makeup application/etc but just this light is perfect for a softly lit small room.
